Better movies togetherYour friends know what you should watch.
Watchdog is a tiny private app for a handful of friends. You recommend things to each other, and it keeps score of who actually gets it right.
How a night goes
- 1Someone sends you a pick.Joe recommends Heat with a note: “Trust me.” It lands in your inbox.
- 2You watch it. Or not.No pressure. Pass on it, put it back later, whatever.
- 3Two quick taps. How much did you like it? And was it a good call for you? Those are different questions, and both count.
- 4Joe's RecScore moves.Nail five in a row and you're a legend. Whiff and everyone knows.
Stuck on what to watch?
Tap one button, say who’s on the couch and what mood you’re in, and get three picks that fit everyone. It leans on the friends whose calls have landed for you before.
Your first three minutes
- Sign in with your email. Set a password later if you like, or keep using the emailed link.
- Tell us your name. That’s all friends ever see.
- React to about eighteen movies and shows. Gut feeling only.
- Pick your Top 5. The ones you’d defend at dinner.
- That’s it. Your inbox starts filling up.
The fine print, short version
