The fine print, short version
Only people in your circle see anything about you. There’s no public feed, no strangers, no ads. You can switch any part of your profile to private, and you can leave any time.
Put it on your phone
- iPhone: open this in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen.
- Android: Chrome will offer Install, or use the menu’s Add to Home screen.
- Computer: Chrome and Edge show an install icon in the address bar.
Private by design. We never see your password, never sell your data, and never post for you.How Watchdog handles your account
Your sign-in. Continue with Apple or Google and Watchdog never holds a password at all. If you choose one, it is stored only as a scrambled hash by Supabase, our sign-in provider. New passwords are checked against known breach lists and refused if they have leaked elsewhere, so pick one you don’t use anywhere else.
If your phone warns that a password was found in a breach, that is about the password itself, wherever else you use it. The fix is to change it on that other account.
Your data. Ratings, saved titles, and messages are visible only to the circle you chose. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers, and there are no ad trackers in the app.
Phone numbers you add for people outside Watchdog are seen only by you.
Keeping it civil. Any comment, message, or person can be reported in one tap, and a human reads every report within 24 hours. You can remove or block anyone from your circle. Questions: hello@watchdog.show.
Leaving. Under Me → Privacy you can download everything you’ve added, or delete your account and all of it in one tap.
