Your sign-in. Continue with Apple or Google and Watchdog never holds a password at all. If you choose one, it is stored only as a scrambled hash by Supabase, our sign-in provider. New passwords are checked against known breach lists and refused if they have leaked elsewhere, so pick one you don’t use anywhere else.
If your phone warns that a password was found in a breach, that is about the password itself, wherever else you use it. The fix is to change it on that other account.
Your data. Ratings, Maybes, and messages are visible only to the circle you chose. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers, and there are no ad trackers in the app.
Phone numbers you add for people outside Watchdog are seen only by you.
Leaving. Under Me → Privacy you can download everything you’ve added, or delete your account and all of it in one tap.
